Overall a charming Victorian hotel. Neat and fashionable rooms with great views, food delightful. A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. Great and lovely location really close to a nice quiet neighbourhood, a residential area with beautiful Victorian houses, and Edinburgh, and surrounding areas, could not be better.

The hotel was reasonably spacious, and the meals were good, I loved the marvellous location near the Edinburgh Castle in about 30 minutes, New Town and a gorgeous residential area. Everyone was very very helpful as well as host. I could see garden from the window of the double room. I had a very comfy bed, an electric kettle and glassware. I had a great experience and would have stayed for longer.

The hotel of choice in Edinburgh. Enjoyable base for travelling to Edinburgh and exploring local places. Delightful food for all meals. Bright and huge units with very comfortable bed, the bedroom, for example. Marvellous and stunning location for Edinburgh, near The Grange, Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Castle in about 30 minutes, and a gorgeous residential area.
